November 2011 Newsletter

ITonDemand Newsletter

Hello,

We want to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday and hope you get a chance to relax and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

We also wanted to remind you that our helpdesk will be closed Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, and will re-open on Friday, November 25th.

We will still be available on Thursday to respond to emergencies, and of course for all of our Managed Services clients, we're still keeping an eye on your important infrastructure!

Happy Thanksgiving, The ITonDemand Team

Happily Ever After, with e-End

ITonDemand has partnered with e-End to bring you an even higher level of information security! Evil Data Theft Villains are on the prowl, searching for hard drives in "forgotten" machines. Most of us have some sort of abandoned hardware sitting around the office, just waiting for disaster to strike.

Thinking about throwing your clunker in the dumpster? Think again! Not only will this action land you in a world of legal trouble, result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in penalties, and put your data at risk (those data villains love dumpster diving)... but your machine will be flopped into a landfill, potentially leaking toxic chemicals, and certainly never decomposing. YIKES!

ITonDemand has entered a partnership with e-End and we are here to help you live e-sponsibly, by offering secure data sanitation and electronics recycling services. As you clean out your offices for a fresh start in 2012, be sure your old hardware doesn't end up somewhere your valuable data could land in the hands of a villain. Don't leave your data unprotected.

Let e-End pick it up, sanitize and destroy your hard drive, and recycle your machine. For more information, or to schedule a pick up, please contact us today. Put your mind at ease and go on with your happily ever after. e-End.

SPAM Belongs in a Can (Not Your Inbox!)

Truthfully, I have never tasted SPAM, but the concept of congealed meat in a can makes my skin crawl. Kudos to all the canned meat fans of the world, for you are far braver than I will ever be. Similar to my aversion to SPAM in a can, is my disgust for virtual SPAM showing up in my email Inbox.

Sorting through the SPAM in your Inbox can be a tedious process and your time is better spent doing something productive. (Like your actual job?) Additionally, many SPAM messages can be harmful to your machine and even other users within your network. NOW is the time to take action against these unwanted emails and ITonDemand is ready to help you slice out SPAM with a cutting edge solution!

Send Emily an email about how much you hate SPAM!
