Tips for Gifting Technology
So, you have taken on the role of "Technologically Advanced Gifter" this year. Congratulations! Before wrapping that gift up, we recommend you take a few simple steps to truly master the art of gifting technology.

1.  Open the box and turn the device on. Don't worry, the recipient will be happy you did this in advance. Make sure the device works. The last thing you want is to give someone a gift that isn't functional! (If your device is faulty, you still have time for an exchange. Out of time? Call the manufacturer, explain the problem, make arrangements for a replacement product, print a picture of the product, put the picture in a box, wrap the box. Done. This is likely to save a lot of frustration on a day meant for celebration!)

2. Power to the MAX. In just about every user manual, the first instruction recommends that you "Charge your device to maximum capacity." The last thing anyone wants to do when they are filled with the excitement of a new gadget is wait for the thing to charge. This will give the recipient a chance to tinker around with their new technology without any sort of wait time!

3. Preload a few apps. That's right - take the extra step to personalize your gift! Add a favorite book, song, game, something to let the recipient know you put some thought into this one. If you are really fancy, you might even include a gift card for additional downloads! (Amazon, iTunes, Andriod, etc.)

Taking these few extra steps will ensure your success as a "Master of Technologically Advanced Gifting." Best of luck!
